From my understanding, JD Power is significantly more reliable than Consumer Reports when it comes to gauging the quality of cars that have been on the road a few years (as in the reliability survey), because the Consumer Reports survey is somewhat self-fulfilling because it polls its own audience, and those people are already trained to not buy American cars as much.

Buick and Jaguar, both GM divisions, IIRC.

Jaguar is Ford......or at least it was. They might have sold it.

Jaguar is owned by Tata Motors now. Ford sold it last year.
