decade after decade after decade, american teachers knew how to teach, and most parents did their part. why we need some physco people telling them how to do it now? reading is reading. math is math. really ain't that complicated. they think reading has changed? or math? maybe upper stuff. but that is when you start to separate the brighter and middle and lower... and lower not bad... maybe you guide them to learn how to work on cars (as in have shops for that)...

I was separated out when I was 11 in this ahem... it was called... the... 'mentally-gifted class'. eek. I went backwards from there. laughing. was made to read Moby Dick at 11. what a stupid book. oh, well.

point is... if our teachers knew how to do it then, they know how to do it now. so stay out of it, but parents start acting like parents again. parents are the problem. not teachers. just my opinion. oh 'some' parents. makes it bad for all.
