>>But if you look at it in purely Machiavellian terms, what you see is a colossal power grab that threatens to turn the federal government into a kind of giant Enron — a huge, impenetrable black box filled with self-dealing insiders whose scheme is the securing of individual profits at the expense of an ocean of unwitting involuntary shareholders, previously known as taxpayers.<<

*exactly* - and Obama is knee deep in this. "change" is but a slogan when it comes to these financial insiders.

as it turns out, AIG had already dolled out $55 million in bonuses without a peep from treasury or the fed.

they were fine with these bonuses as they were enriching the financial insiders for whom they (Bush, Obama, whomever) work.

then the public got mad and the theatre began.

did you hear mccain get geithner's back and say "give him a chance?"

geithner and bernanke are the financial insiders for the financial elite and they allow the whole sale loothing of america.

yes, obama is a looter and a criminal enabler. would i rather be ripped off and sent to the poor house by obama than by bush? probably.

better still, stop ripping us off.
