Elliott wave 's obvious flaw appears that they try to predict too far out.I think we can all agree that where the stock mkt will be a year or two from now [indeed,next month] depends on way too many variables. Does any previous stk mkt wave impact on war or peace in the middle east? who is elected to congress ? what Alen Greenspan will do or even say ?I think not .I know little of the theory myself but for years have watched Peter Elidies on CNBC anyone could have become rich going opposit his predictions.His all time classic, 1987 one day after, ''The dow will go to 1000'' . Of course he has missed the last 5000 pts on the dow . I see he has been advertising his book ''At the crest of the tidal wave'' maby he knows how to get rich better than all of us .
