Frankly, unless you have liquid you just drank squirting out of your nose or are choking, I don't think you should post "LOL" on a message board.

I believe 99.9% of the time people post "LOL" they are not actually laughing out loud.

Maybe something like "TF" for "that's funny" would be a more appropriate way to address the overuse of "LOL".
