TJ, Alan Green$pan didn't admit to being an idiot. I doubt that you are able to even say what the flaw he found was [without cheating and asking Google].

It is definitely disconcerting to find that beliefs of 40 years duration are incorrect. Fortunately, most such changes of belief happen young, when half-baked ideas are formed from limited experiences and understanding, leaving decades to run ideas which stand the test of time.

Even so, there's always something sneaking in to dislocate previously held ideas. It's a simpleton who doesn't experience such requirements to change mind from time to time, throughout life. If they started with few and simple ideas about little, they probably don't need to make many changes.

Can you say what the flaw was?

Meanwhile, thank you for your continued efforts to save me. Since I continue to do quite well, you have obviously been successful.

I know for two decades the system was rot to the bone marrow and would go belly up. It is a wonder that it didn't collapse before.

US will pay dearly for the mistakes made by Greenspan.
