Chip, in the weeks before earnings, it seems that CREAF follow quite a fair bit on Nasdaq up and down movements, but since the earnings last Tues, despite the large fall on DOW & NAZ, we didn't see much downward movement on CREAF. If you have followed CREAF enough besides looking at charts, it is quite a clear signal that it is gonna shoot up, and pretty soon ! You seem so SURE that it is a good short, and even more so from your arguments with the others here. But Jon and many others have in much details saying otherwise and yet you kept prattling about your TA stuff but refused to say WHAT YOU SAW ON YOUR CHARTS !! I am from Singapore and have been trading Creative 50 since 2 years ago and have read and benifited much from SI since I stumbled upon it last FEB. I am quite familiar with CREAF movements by now that when there is a series of large drop I make my entry quickly, especially so when Stochastic JUST indicate an oversold condition and make a sell during a run-up when the RSI hit the sell line. I am not an expert on TA, but I based my trading on these TA indicators and I am saying here that I expect CREAF to have more upward movements from what I saw from the charts. Enlighten us for goodness sake. Telling us you're shorting and not saying why ??? There's no need for you to wish good luck to us, because I am sure you are the one needing it. I don't know what size of positions you have on CREAF, but as of now I have 15000 Creative 50 and have ever traded up to 70000 last May when I sold with a tremendous profit, all the shares bought from NOV 96 (less than US7.00) to end April 97. I have always chased Creative shares during downward movements, but never buy when it moves up. Likewise if I am in USA, I will NEVER short this stock, ESPECIALLY NOW !!! Tell us what you saw that in our bullishness we didn't, otherwise I think you are just bluffing. It's not that you don't have the right to short, but you are here getting everyone's nerves saying CREAF is a good short candidate but yet refusing to explain why so.
