but in the last quarter exports slid at a 20 percent annualized rate. Thats what I said. Everybody's exports are down. Try China's to us. They had to lay off 20 million. In the meantime the Dems will make it even worse by doing what people like Lou Dobbs propose. Cutting trade even further. If I was in the Oval office, the first thing I would want is legislation putting though 100% free trade in this country. The market would go bananas on the way up. You want to restrict what I can sell you while you hasten to peddle everything you have to me at cut-rate prices? Wonderful! How anybody can look at the example of Hong Kong since WWII and not agree is beyond me.
