JQP, i agree with you... the bushevic administration was the worst ever, imho. absolutely horrible. however, that doesn't mean i get to be happy with a relatively better president who loots the treasury for the oligarchy and screws taxpayers over. iow, being better than bush doesn't say much of anything. the 2nd worst president ever was "better than bush" - that doesn't mean they didn't screw over america.

In my experience talking with people about Obama vs Bush, the ONLY ones I have ever come across who think Bush did a better job are the ones with a tenuous grip on reality I notice a lot of Obama supporters talking about how brilliant he is. What's difficult to explain, though, is why he is performing so badly thus far? In 60 days Obama has done massive damage to our country in every respect. In national defense? Disaster. National security? Disaster. Economy? Disaster. The country, while giving him a chance, is divided just like under Bush. Look at his statement to Iran. If he is so freaking intelligent why would he make such a mistake? No American president has EVER done anything so stupid. It is worse than Carter. In fact, the brilliant Obama has not really accomplished anything positive that I can see. But he is oh, so smart. The big "professor of Constitutional Law" has even come out supporting legislation that is clearly unconstitutional. WTF is up with that? He's a genius, alright.
