If they need to stimulate, then they don't have an inflation problem but a deflation one. If inflation starts to become a problem, you start to raise interest rates......carefully.

I think anything they accomplish will be short-lived because the core problems will still remain.

I disagree. He's buying us time to fix the underlying problems.
