tim, Revenue did grow..but I'm talking unit growth. cpq's rev. growth will be 36% and dell will be more. It's why we use unit growth since the supply increased drastically. but, most the new players are bombing out. Anyway, that's why dataquest, idc, HQ use unit growth. Corps are buying pcs and so is retail. cpq increased their retail pc unit growth 111%. last quarter. The forecasters are predicting a gangbuster 4th q for retail this yr. Big winner will be cpq. You are just letting a weak perdiod from aug15th to oct 15th in retail to confuse you about 4q97 retail and business too. That weak period has always been there every yr.
