How come obama is successfully attacking al quaeda on the pakistan side of the border while bush didnt dare? Yuh think kissing musharifs ass to prevent at least the chance at democratic govt in pakistan had something to do with it? Tough neos allowed taliban to reform and al quaeda to survive while they decided to open a second front in iraq. In retrospect, how stupid was that forgetting ones views on iraq. All bush had to do was wait one more year and afganistan may very well have been pacified and bin laden dead.
