Compared to the dozens of other similar cases, what made the (now rejected) Berg case special?

What? That the United States Supreme court has (thus far...) voted unanimously to not accept for formal consideration on the Court's docket EVERY SINGLE such case that has thus far made there way to the Court.

About that there is no dispute --- it's simply a matter of public record now, listed in the official court records and noted by every reporter assigned to the Supreme Court beat.
