IMO, there are a large number of speculative traders who were hoping to see Accent pop up to the $5 range and had no idea why they were buying the stock on a fundamental level. It shouldn't be surprising that they started selling on the possible delisting news -- it doesn't take that much for Accent to widely fluctuate in price.

I'm optimistic Accent will pull through this -- the company arguably was in lot worse shape earlier this year and not delisted then. The big money insiders are still supporting Accent and I doubt they'll let it become a penny stock. Plus, one of the reasons it recently created new classes of stock was to bring in venture capital -- hopefully a deal will be announced with the 3rd quarter earnings. The NASDAQ extension is also well timed to allow Accent to report its 3rd Quarter before the period expires.
