I think both Geithner and Bernaki are rocking today. and 'our' congress is not behaving too badly and asking a few decent questions. and I might not get much of a thing either G or B is saying, but they don't make me feel stupid for it... i feel a lil edecated. as long as we know Geithner is actually in charge of the Treasury, not no 'shadow' person. could work. a lil Volker at his back couldn't hurt, of course. (imo)

I think Krugman is incorrect to say the problem has not been defined correctly. Everyone knows there are assets that suck and loans that shoudn't have been made. What those guys are saying is take every major bank into banko.

they might be right. I'm sure there are smart guys with Nobel Prizes on the other side too.
