Watching Timmy and Bernacke at the congress.

Maxine Waters just attempted to score a point off Timmy by trying to find Goldman Sachs behind all the machinations. I had mixed feelings, it was amusing to watch such a moron trying to trap a slimy weasel, but it was also nice to see some light in the dark crevices.

My jaw has just dropped, the congresswoman from Minnesota, Michele Bachmann (R), has just cut to the heart of it: Where in the constitution do you find the authority to take these actions? Why wasn't AIG taken into receivership? Do you reject an international currency? Are you moving from free market capitalism to centralized planning? To the Fed, who are you loaning money to?

Turbo Tax Timmy's response: No legal means existed to take AIG into receivership. We needed more authority.
