I have to wonder ..

Is the CIA friends or enemies of these cartels in Mexico?
After all, the CIA has been a large importer of drugs into the US since WW2.

Funny how lots of folks don't like to remember that one leg in that Iran/Contra thing was a plane load of coke for the LA gangs.

LEAP ( leap.cc ) estimates that about 50% of law enforcement people fall to the temptation of corruption.

So the Mexican drug cartels are already inside the US. And they have many members of our own law enforcement on payroll.

Homeland Security has reports of hundreds of times where Mexican officials, in uniform, escorted shipments of illegals and drugs inside our boarder. One report has federalies sixty miles inside Texas.

The official government of Mexico seems about to collapse. What should fill the gap is a "strong man" government like existed in Iraq. The most violent person in Mexico will be head honcho.

I don't know that persons name .. but he is already winning the next Mexican American war.

And yu are correct .. the only way it ends is to legalize drugs. All drugs.
