I believe the Brits have a legitimate concern----access to minute detail of the country is as accessible to a terrorist, unfriendly nation or criminal element as it would be to a law abiding citizen. I don't believe that terrorism is a big concern to Brits. They are ceding control of the country to Islamic fundamentalists anyway.

In fact I would not want Google being the vehicle to allow any nutcase to view my property. << MJ - Any nutcase can already view your property. Google has only made it more convenient. The question is, why would anyone target you in the first place? And if someone does have a reason to target you, wouldn't he or she be willing to come around in person to work mischief? - Allen
