I think that the world financial system is working more or less the way its supposed to. It was actually screwed up by the lack of government regulation and inherently flawed products that could only be sold because of fraudulent ratings and silly insurers whose employees seemed to be compensated for allowing their companies to take ridiculous risk for small return. Now sadly instead of the incompetents being permitted to fail present and future taxpayers are being asked to sustain a situation that can only be sustained by printing copious amounts of money and benefitting the few at the expense of the many. Why are we doing this and bowing to financial extortion?
