David - We looked at IChat, JavaChat and MIrc for #RTtrader chat room and decided on mIRC. It's easy to use and has no serious limitations. Once downloaded and installed, you can set up an unregistered chat room just by choosing a name and logging on. If you want a registered chat room, you must apply to the undernet organization and have ten individuals who will say they want to be regular participants. The process takes about 6 weeks to become registered. Once registered, permanent operator status can be controlled. Unregistered rooms give operator status to the first one in the room. That individual can then give operator status to anyone else he or she wants to. mIRC can be downloaded for free from mirc.com IChat and other chat packages can be downloaded at http://www/tucows.com Regards, Trader Spud

Rhett my email is screwed up at the moment...some kind of change recognition mode crap that the sys admin has to fix...this happens at some point EVERY day... did you download those calculator files from options analytics... you know being as technically challenged as I am I cant do it until you tell me how to unzip a file...ROFL..., so I dont know if they are of any value. These might have something for you, Eccentric the Electrifying Gambler and me to work with on POWWOW...sorry guys...i am not up to learning another one of those chat things at the moment...I cant even handle this damn "buddy" problem on POWWOW>....david says its a bug...but I think it is just the keyboard typer... btw, found a LOOOONGGGGG midi(guess that just adds to download time, eh- as if it wasnt long enough already)...Dance of the Macabre....check out my profile....got enough to change every day until after Halloween...something to keep our Eccentric occupied as he is searching for my pic...then , "kiss from a rose" is going up...how appropriate for a Scarlett whose lips where meant to be kissed, and kissed often..
