Actually the off shore situation may come into play concerning AIPN. There are rumors out there--that I'm sure many on this thread have heard--concerning AIPN acquiring additional licenses that may include an off shore area. Also, with the shortage of rigs starting to hit, there is also the flip side argument that majors might focus more on land structures pending the availablity of more/new OS rigs--certainly a potential plus for AIPN. Also, I didn't post info regarding a particular co, just a generalization for the sector.

But why be hostile? Market was full enough of it today--don't you think?>>"

Greg

I'M TRYING to figure out why you switched so suddenly toward AIPN.
Is it because you sold out at a loss... And now you're trying to reassure yourself that you did the right thing. If this is the reason, take your loss in a humble way, and don't try to convince others including myself with all you innuendo that this is a bad investment. I have been investing in oil companies for the past 15 years and IMO this looks much better the others that I have invested in. Although there are some limited risk ... I believe the potential for great returns are excellent . I can sell tomorrow and clear Few 100K. Instead I put my money because I believe It! If you don't...do yourself a favor Short the darn stock. no one is trying to convince you otherwise. At least we'll know your position. Instead of wasting our time.
BTW What credential do you have and expertise on oil exploration and dealing?
