When I say tore up the back yard, I mean mainly the grass, from running around on it.

Yes, she has plenty of toys. Does not seem to be a chewer of shoes and other such items.

A bad chewer can tear up a board on board fence because they can get their teeth on the edges of the boards. Once they get a hole going, it doesn't take them long to make it big enough to get out.

Well, my kid is officially in "Travel Mode" now. Had her last exam today.

She and a friend leave Switzerland tomorrow on the train for Milan.

From there they fly to Dublin for two nights, then up to Belfast for a night, back to Dublin for a night, fly to Brussels, then train to Amsterdam. 3 Days in Amsterdam, then fly to Milan, train to Florence, next day train to Rome, meet me in Rome, 3 days Rome, 1 day Orvieto, 2 days Tuscany and Siena, then she abandons me and heads off to Prague and from there to Zagreb.

Ah, to be young, footloose and fancy free, and have dad's money to travel on!!!
