Kenneth you let the free market do what the free market does rather then reward shareholders and managers for their incompetence. Bush started us down this fucked up path but there is no reason for Teleprompter Jesus to continue down the wrong trail. Of course nationalizing everything and turning us into a socialist country is likely the goal here so I guess they will carry on smartly.

I think Geitner should run his plan through Turbo Tax first. At the heart of his plan banks must sell assets below real value to funds that will dispose of them for a profit. There isn't much interest in it for now. Perhaps when they FORCE the banks to sell for pennies on the dollar he will consider it a success.
