On another subject, I heard that things have gone south in Dubai, and that there are 3000 abandoned cars at the airport where people have left them and fled to other places. what's the scoop? I left the UAE last October, I now live in the Philippines. I think lots of people borrowed money to buy cars, and if they lose their job or return home they just abandon the car (and the loan) at the airport. From what friends tell me "things aint the same!" these days.
