So WHAT, is Mr. Martin Wolf really saying here? "The conclusion, alas, is depressing" is what I get from his little article. He doesn't have any answers, just like nobody else has any answers. It's BAD if you do this and it's BAD if you do that. I think they're trying to stem the tide of this deflationary spiral so home prices stabilize. What else can they do at this point? I guess they could just let all the banks go bankrupt and wait out the 20 years it would take for the World's Economy to straighten itself out.
