As I am learning more and more about mathematics it is starting to become logical that the actions of large groups of people can be modelled mathematically. It clearly won't work on individuals or small groups but for large/very large groups it could yield very accurate results, especially if you can influence what people see/hear. That may explain the plethora of clowns CNBC is constantly parading in front of it's audience.
