The DOE is clearly a waste of money. Yes...I agree with you. If I were in charge of the national budget I would abolish the DOE and close the U.N. Both are IMO a waste of money, and do not fulfill the goals they hoped to accomplish. Actually...I can think of many ways we could cut the budget, by eliminating many government jobs. Count me among other Americans who have bail out fatigue. IMO Obama is trying to do many things at once, and he hasn't looked at our major priorities and focused on these issues alone.
