Our health care system may not be pretty and it costs a lot of money. But somehow it works. IMO the quality of medical care that most people receive in the USA is surprisingly good at all levels of society. (Didn't say that everything is perfect or that there is always room for improvement).

I have no doubt that both the quality and the humanity of the system will go way down as they regulate it more and more.

Beware of the law of unintended consequences. As you mandate changes, things often get worse not better.
