truth is that back then that was exactly what was needed to get supply side moving again. Back then it wasnt a demand side recession if you reemember. We were an unproductive country after years of lefty and nixon rule. Dereg was overdone and a good deal of the overdonism was done during clinton/greenie years. And then the chump was replaced by the chimp and it all fell apart. ""get government off the back of business" and deregulation - it all started with Reagan."
