The voters are not the ones in the way of a solution -- the voters are not the ones benefitting from propping up 'the system' as you put it. The voters are the ones paying for propping up the system -- and specifically the banking system. The voters do not have much of a say in any of this -- they are not at the table. The voters are the ones left holding the bag.

Bankruptcy IS the answer -- and it is not an option because the voters have no say in this.

No palatable alternative :O)
Geez J, I wish I had an answer.. All I have is a wife, 2 kids and 4 pets to watch out for :O)

Making it up to me doing anything except letting the cleansing (bankruptcies) happen.. I'm reminded of a little Dutch boy with his finger in the dike .. Maybe reclaiming all that land from the sea was pure hubris.. but heck I guess we need to try.. no one wants a financial reset.. To me the bigger question is will the resolve be there if it works to reign it in before a new bubble appears :O)

J, re: Bankruptcy will work...

Anything else is in my mind 'making it up' .. Does not infer that anyone else has a better solution IMVHO..

I've a wife, two kids and 4 pets to take care of.. so I hope the little Dutch Boy method ends up working :O)

I'm a little more concerned that no one comes to properly reinforce the dike.. and we get reset anyway and worse than it may have been..

so yeah I guess we agree... No one really wants to take the Buckley's LOL
