I see the US standard of living continue it's downward spiral.

If you've been to the grocery store and actually purchased basic goods lately, you'd see the price drops. Here are some prices I'm finding: Canola oil $2.50 for 48-oz. Milk $1.79-$1.99/gallon Butter $1.49/lb. Sugar: $1.99 5-lb. Flour: $1.99 5-Lb. New York Strip Steak: $2.39-$2.59/lb. Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast: $1.66/lb. Boneless Pork Loin: $1.49/lb.-$1.69/lb. Bacon: $10.99/10-lbs. Most of these are down at least 20-50% from 9-months ago. These are sale prices, but if people want to be dopes and pay full retail, be my guest.
