This will happen when they get freed from their debt bondage. Unfortunately the focus so far has been in getting the debt machine revved up so that we can buy buy buy again. We are being shoved back into the debtor society and savers are getting crushed. As long as this continues, and it looks like its going to be for a long long time, the middle class will be forever chained to debt. The middle class is going down with the US debt ship.
