Perfectly adequate camera. If you do a lot of videotaping, you'll use that 4 gigs up pretty fast. Be sure you read the instructions about using the video feature. A lot of those cameras require special software that doesn't come with the camera. Some require that you format the disc to accomodate the video. Some don't allow you to download at all and you have to use the camera hooked up to a TV to view it, which means your disc becomes the storage, not your computer. I don't know about the Panasonic.

This might be my next cell phone. Then I won't have to lug an extra device.....camera.

(at least not in the states)

8 megapixel camera. HD recording and viewing etc. Take a look at the web site.
