It is difficult to comprehend why the AIG bailout wasn't conditional on no bonuses to be paid out...I mean these gov't rep's are supposed to be bright and working for the people (i.e. Main St). That "no bonuses" were not a precondition of the bailout smacks of chicanery between these bright gov't gang and Wall St.

For AIG and Citibank not to be excluded from the purchasing of the discounted, by public funds, so called toxic assets, after the Main St. ruckus over the bonus payments out of bailout proceeds by these same bright government rep's is a flagrant slap in the face to Main Street.

These gov't guys and AIG and Citibank are carrying on as if they are untouchable....

Guess what? They are untouchable as they play with Main St.'s lack of power, and this gang of gov't/Wall St. pikers knows that and is milking their position of power to the limit at the expense of Main St...

Very selfish, despicable and short-sighted leadership qualities.

Main Street will not accept being abused much longer!
