MT if you base your decisions soley on TA you really could care less about the fundamentals of a company. This is exactly what I do I base my decision on TA only!! You say I can't have it both ways I didn't know I was.... I'm only basing my decision to go short on TA is this really that hard to understand. I have done my homework in TA and I'm satisfied with it,so I'm not going into this blindly. Good luck MT!!
