I used to read that thread all the time, but I discovered I'm better off with an idiot proof camera. I just need something that is going to take a decent picture. I'd rather sit and admire it than worry about the perfect shot. I'll let the professionals take pics of the moon and buy one of their pieces if I need it that badly. Although I'll never forget that full moon in '99 in Napa and wish I'd been able to capture it with my camera. At least I have a mental picture that is still clear and bright.
