the arms... ain't it amazing in 2009 to be making a deal out of a woman's arms? and before 1950 would we have? considering the whimpering whispy woman was not in vogue when they were working the farms etc. :)

and we can even think we are ready for a woman as President if we freak at toned arms? and they are toned... strength in them, yes, with healthy muscle, but hardly 'large'. bizarro.

your post crossed my mind a few minutes ago as I was talking with a 1st cousin of my mother's who has always been more like an aunt to me and her children 1st cousins...

anyways, she is in the 80ish range. born and raised in a small east texas cowtown and lives now in a place rather close to were our former pres lives.

she asked if i'd seen about Michelle's garden and I say ya and that I thought it was great. she said she loved it, too, and felt we had people (Barack AND Michelle) in the White House now that we can be proud of, and that on election night when the electoral vote went over the edge she started crying and cried all night from happiness... and relief.

now, she also does love GWB. but in that sweet Texas way said to the effect "I love him to death but he's dumb as a plank. He can't run a baseball team, how could he run a country?"

I sucked up all my daily tactfulness and agreed that "ya, he was in over his head."

The arm thing is just amazing.
