Yep....of course the "real" reason to disclose the war costs now is in the interest of full disclosure....right?

In addition a lot of the budget spending is tarp money/AIG money etc and that is not being spent on entitlements but invested and GOV should get this money back and reduce the deficit accordingly. We shall see. This plus the war should make it easy to cut budget in half and is really not correct accounting as the gov is counting its investments as spent when they are deposits of a sort. In actual expenditures though we will have a huge increase even if budget deficit cut in half especially if these social programs: health, education,energy, ramp up.
