Sully,
This is what you stated….”Dude that “kid” has shown more intelligence and rational, reality based, coherent logic….”

And Sully that is the very reason that I told you in my original response that I was surprised you were so willingly to let this “kid” diss you so openly as to what you stand for.

Sully….this is what the intelligence, rational, reality based person with so much coherent logic said about you….

“We are to be the ones to stop global warming”…..and YOU Sully continue to post here your rants that there is no such thing as global warming.” Yeap…Sully is wrong and kid is reality based!

“Once America has weathered the current economic crisis” …Sully….”What crisis?”

“It’s a shame we never learned the solid moral values necessary to accomplish these goals and maintain a healthy civil society”…..Your response to civil society is a daily dose of your racist and hatred based screeds

“We are the “coddled generation”…….You tell me, Sully! Who is the “kid” slamming? Get a mirror to seek the answer.

“We are also the “bling” and reality TV generation”….”With all this worship of money”…. Sully, coherent kid just told you that the greed of money is BAD. And just who is the money party?

“We couldn’t stop watching reality shows”….A slam at Fox Cable as they are the purveyors of much of this debasing reality TV programming.

“Beyond excessive coddling and the unrealistic pursuit of “bling”……Intelligent kid just admitted that seeking personal wealth is unrealistic……Sully, kid tells you that capitalistic endeavors are unrealistic.

“Looking at the big picture, my generation’s moral deficiencies may derail our economic future.”…. I know! Your civil approach to our society will get this kid back on track.

“From Enron to Madoff we have witnessed the economic consequences of immoral behavior” ..Hey, Sully! Rational kid just slammed your ilk one more time!

Now this is where the kid gets loony…..for nearly three fourths of his article he denigrates capitalism, but then proffers… “Why not choose the one with the greatest reward for the most people: capitalism” So after attacking ‘coddling’ and seeking personal fortunes, a kid whose parents pay about $45,000.00 for him to attend boarding school switches side on the issues. Sully, do you think $45,000 is ‘coddling’?

“It was not through nationalized industries and government subsides, but through fierce yet healthy competition and rapid growth of the private sector”…… The intelligent kid admits that he hasn’t taken Econ 101, and by such preposterous statements as that one, he hasn’t taken any history courses either. If the government hadn’t been so active in subsidizing expansion efforts the United States would currently be thirteen states. Westward expansion was created by subsidized railroads, the south got industry because of TVA as no electric company wanted to waste money of rural areas. Southern California, Los Angeles, Las Vegas...would be deserts without the federal government funded dams/electrity generating plants. Our interstate commerce would be nonexistent without our federally funded highway system. There would be no commercial airlines without our government’s assistance. Sully, would you like for me to add to this list of things our nation wouldn’t have without government assistance….assistance that your coddled, intelligent, logical attacker has laid on you with his side switching epistle?

Sully...."Dude, that "kid", in one article, has shown more intelligence & rational, reality based, coherent logic than you have in all your posts here combined."

Your 'intelligent, rational, reality based, coherent, logical' new best friend has parents that spend $45,000 a year on his education and this is what it has taught him..

"It was not through nationalized industries and government subsidies...." $45,000 and this kid doesn't have a clue as to the history of our government subsidies for business.

Why not use Guv Palin's state of Alaska for one classic example. The first attempt to create a railroad system in Alaska went bankrupt. Kaput! Broke!

March 12, 1914--Congress agrees to fund construction and operation of a railroad from Seward to Fairbanks. Estimated construction cost to taxpayer....$35 million dollars.

January 14, 1983...Reagan signs into law legislation authorizing transfer of the Alaska Railroad to the State of Alaska.

1996- Alaska Railroad begins qualify for FEDERAL funds and receives $10 million of our taxpayer dollars to install 87,000 railroad ties.

2002- Many projects completed using federal funds including Bill Sheffield Rail Depot at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Whittier Pedestrian Underpass. ( Whittier with the 2000 census has a grand population of less than 200 people. And about 100% of this total population lives in ONE building complex, but our taxpayer dollars goes to a Alaska Stated owned corporation and we taxpayers are stuck with paying for 182 people a railroad underpass.)

Yeah! $45,000 a year education and Sully wants the world to know this kid is intelligent, rational, reality based and coherent.............!

Next up for you Sully and the smart kid is the history of the Panama Canal vs the Cape Cod Canal. The we will visit the history of Tariffs and their creation. Then a visit to the farm and the 1929 creation of the Federal Farm Board and their revealing slogan..."Grow Less--Get More! Now what could that slogan be in reference?????????????????
