I felt like a grinch yesterday at the Fred Meyer Store. We had stopped to pick up a Prescription. When I got back in my truck a young girl or woman with a backpack and a rack of baubles came up and spoke to me. I couldn't understand anything she said, as she appeared to have a strong foreign accent. I believe she was trying to sell me the baubles, but I said no thanks and shut my door on her. She looked down and then went to solicit somebody else. I went inside and reported her to the customer service desk. The only other time I've been approached in a similar fashion was by some kind of cult member, such as the Moonies. I want nothing to do with them. I felt bad for the person, who I'm quite sure turned her personal sovereignty over to somebody else.
