Winguts seem to like to bitch about everything in government, except the military - IMO, the most poorly managed of the bunch.

Even the postal service Nobodies stopping UPS or some other corp from taking their letter business, but no one does! Wonder WHY?

My experience has been mainly FLA and TX. Even in Florida, where, because being a state representative is a full time job, tends to have a whole hat full of pointless regulations, I didn't think they were all that bad.

I haven't dealt with TX DMV since '92 or thereabouts. At that time it was impossible.

In Arkansas they're the worst I've seen besides maybe Louisiana. They actually have the tear-off numbers you take when you talk in, like something out of the 60s. And like six rows of folding chairs you sit in while you wait on them to call you.

It is an embarrassment.

Of course, Louisiana is horrible, too. I would say DMVs around the country are universally bad government agencies. Which is why they are the poster child.
