Yea, right TexasDude....you must have gullible friends. If you think my little light comment was offensive, good luck in life!

I wagered a friend $500 to $100 that the first response to my post would be a sarcastic and irrational exuberance one and looks like I'm the winner.

Check your email. I sent you a complimentary note before that post appeared.

Texas Dude!

I was merely trying to give a rational unbaised observation of what I see going on
in the stock market. It is your money to invest and I can only hope that you don't
end up giving Mr. Fleckenstein a 50% return this year

I just don't understand those JMAR investors who feel the need to
come to this thread in order to show their loyalty to JMAR.
Unbiased observation, irrational exuberance ? TRY THIS

Now, tell me who is irrational.

To all: From specific company uncertainty, which has been very successfully put to rest, to overall tech uncertainy which hits Cymer with the same broadstoke brush unfortunately. The issue of overcapacity is also unfortunately real in my opinion. BUT, some day some analysts will get a clue and understand that there is no capacity of DUV tools to speak of, and even in a downturn the money that is spent is mostly for next generation products preparing for the upturn. Since Cymer is next generation solely, they have the perfect market irrespective of the overall tech climate. During downturns, the amats of the world survive by selling their newest technology.
If the overall market just flattens, or grows slowly, then so much the better.
