Well, we shall see. I think most of these problems will eventually be solved, using left leaning thinking. the left has a pretty good record. I think Krugman sees the big picture better than Geithner. Krugman is an intellectual oddity he is so smart. Geithner is just smart. The only threat Krugman and Stiglitz ever were to Clinton or Obama was their propensity for telling the raw truth. Not politic. If Geithner hires university professors like Elizabeth Warren, the law professor overseeing TARP, they would open up a whole can of worms called Wall street fraud. Warren complains about the lack of transparency all the time. For some reason, Obama doesn't want to open that can it seems? Maybe, practically speaking, it is just too much to handle administratively??
