Medicare has failed. We are in debt $30 Trillion with no hope of digging out. Unemployment has failed. By FDR's on vision, if it had to be fed with general fund dollars, it was a failure. Well, guess what? It is all one big F*cking failure. Going away? Oh, yes, they're going away. It just happens that when government fails it fails big and it fails slowly. They're all going away. But as Krugman said this morning, hell, the country can tolerate a lot of debt before it collapses.
