that is not what i asked - i asked what happens after this...the new 2009 version of the auto worker makes half, will his expenses reflect this new scenario ? i was already assuming in my theoretical question that they had accepted this. but will the thousand dollar apartment he has been renting all along be half price too ? i have trouble seeing the landlords of such places on their knees in thanks for people who can pay full rent every month. But maybe they should be !
