Almost nobody studies tax law, especially posters on SI. I learned that last year. Everyone wants to know how to avoid paying taxes, but they won't or can't do the homework it requires.

I have found VERY few Americans that understand the tax laws. That includes tax accountants, tax preparers, and IRS employees. The folks at H&R Block are especially clueless. Some guy takes a 1 or 2 week crash course on one of the most complex things mankind has ever made and is suddenly an expert? I don't think so!

Thanks for a clear-headed response. There's too much emotion on some of these boards at times.

"This is not evasion but tax planning and every corporation does it."

Ok, technicality, eh.

and:

'EVERY corporation does it'. EVERY, really.

"You need to study tax law."

I don't need to study shit. If you are looking for justice, you wont find it in the justice system.

They can all stuff it up their loophole.
