You have to go back 300 years to find something similar
to the current crisis. There is no solution when it comes
to derivatives. Monetization (to drop the leverage) and
nationalization. The culprits must be punished, not rewarded,
which is a prerequisite for a sustainable recovery. Thus,
nationalization and a breakup of the culprits must take place.
The only reason for nationalization instead of FDIC type
receivership is that FDIC has not enough $ for this.
