how will capable girls find even more capable husbands

Girls mature a bit faster than boys. A law of nature, an evolutionary imperative presumably intended to assure that girls reach child-bearing age as soon as possible.

Sorry, but true. She'll be interested in boys when Poor Paul's main interest is some sort of sport at which he will be clumsy.

She'll be ahead of Poor Paul for a number of years. Things will get interesting when he starts his rapid development and makes huge strides. Both will be in full hormonal disarray at that time, with brains full of oatmeal mush, when this happens. You'll be pulling your hair out.

Hi Tobago Jack,
It's an eternal problem, a wise choice of a spouse. Mr. Right exists; he is probably 2-5 years older than Erita. I think one can battle the hormones with at least partial success. From childhood parents can deluge her with true stories about unsuccessful marriages, and why they bring so much unhappiness. JMHO

Girls get as much as 2, maybe 3 years ahead of boys in coordination, balance, fine motor skills, etc. The gap closes to about 1 year or so around 12-14, but does not close completely until late teens.

The gap can be so large, parents sometimes freak out, thinking there is something wrong.

This is one reason many people propose educating the sexes separately in earlier years.

RE: "Exclusive: AIG Was Responsible For The Banks' January & February Profitability"

I wonder if that explains why Dylan Ratigan is gone from CNBC after his radio interview explaining how the big banks and congress were screwing us all.

See Why is Dylan Ratigan Gone from CNBC's Fast Money?

Snippet: Dylan Ratigan may have gotten too close to the truth with this radio interview where he compared the people making money at the major investment banks to the crooks at Enron. He gives very clear details how ...
