Re: "clearly guilty of malfeasons?" If some politician is guilty of a crime I say convict 'em and lock 'em up! No tears for the dirty pol here.... But --- if you are looking to PREVENT the problems of band government, endless structural deficits, etc., I say that (although locking up the occasional politician has a salutatory effect on the rest of 'em) NOTHING pays off quite as well as implementing STRUCTURAL REFORMS to the system of government itself! For example, with regard to endless deficit spending, approving a Balanced Budget amendment to our Constitution.
