Fundamentals for gold stocks are really strong
with gold/oil ratio so high. 1Q profits for gold mining
companies should be enormous.

Of course, maybe gold stocks are predicting something, but
their price level certainly is not reflecting fundamentals
that are in place today, especially since gold made new highs
in many currencies where mining is located.

Unlike most other stocks, for gold stock their price dropped
while fundamentals improved.

I did sell some 20% of my gold stocks long term positions in
March, to convert to cash. Not hedging any more. Letting the rest
ride through possible Summer rough waters. They are off the
accounts. The gold market is scheduled to begin the mania
phase some time this year or next. Maybe the dump will
be severe, maybe not. The gold market has become very
unpredictable due to the presence of long term investors,
as the normal jewelry demand rules no longer apply, which
screws up normal gold seasonal cycles. I certainly applaud
if you can time that market correctly.
